A peaceful moment in the shallows turned unforgettable when a small shovel-nosed ray unexpectedly swam in close.
The video, filmed by Stephanie Green from Cairns, Queensland, Australia shows the ray gliding effortlessly through shallow water before coming right up to the filmer.
In the final moments, the camera captures a close-up of the ray as it settles into the sand.
The clip was shared on Instagram, leaving viewers amazed by the gentle encounter.
