A runaway carriage horse escaped the confines of Central Park in New York City and fled into Manhattan traffic, damaging some vehicles on Thursday, Jan. 8. The incident was captured on video by NYCLASS (New Yorkers for Clean, Livable, and Safe Streets) and showed the horse — named Destiny — running past one of the park’s barriers and onto the busy street while still attached to its carriage. The horse could then be seen on a separate vehicle camera, attempting to move in between two cars in traffic. However, its carriage could be seen getting stuck on the bumper of a taxi and damaging it as the horse finally came to a stop.
