A group of international artists joined forces with humanitarian organizations and health professionals to denounce Israel’s systematic attacks on Gaza’s healthcare system. They demanded an end to the blockade and urged world leaders to guarantee access and release detained medical personnel. The signatories stated that Israel has attacked hospitals and obstructed Gaza’s health services. Since October 2023, 1,153 of the 2,925 recorded attacks on healthcare worldwide have occurred in Palestine alone. Most hospitals have been damaged or destroyed, forcing the creation of makeshift clinics that have also been bombed.
