Several areas formerly used for firing ranges have been identified to be developed for additional One Member, One Home (SASaR) housing projects.
The Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, at a press conference at the housing project key handover ceremony on Monday (Jan 19), said that many of these lands are surrounded by public housing developments, which have made them unsuitable for firing ranges.
