U.S. President Donald Trump has announced the creation of a new international body known as the “Board of Peace,” aimed at shaping Gaza’s future following months of war.

According to the White House, the Trump-led board will guide reconstruction, governance and long-term development as a ceasefire holds in the territory. Several countries across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Americas have confirmed receiving invitations.

The initiative includes newly formed governance bodies for Gaza and high-profile political and economic figures, though questions remain over how the plan will operate alongside the United Nations and regional stakeholders.
