Katie Thurston, former star of The Bachelorette, revealed that her mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Thurston shared on Instagram that she flew to Seattle to support her mom at her first appointment, and advocated for additional imaging after a routine mammogram came back negative. Doctors found suspicious masses during an ultrasound, and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer within two weeks of that initial mammogram. This comes nearly a year after Thurston herself shar
