Part 6: Several predictive / future references may appear in 1966 animated TV special How The Grinch Stole Christmas. These connect to actor Jim Carrey & possibly his future acting roles. He played the character in the year 2000 adaptation of the 1957 Dr. Seuss children's story.
I noticed many drums (musical instruments) throughout The Grinch. I thought this may be a easter egg to Carrey's portrayal of comedian Andy Kaufman in Milos Forman biopic Man On The Moon (1999). Kaufman used a set of bongo drums in his stand up / stage routine & he played these in an appearance on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson in 1977.

Near the opening of "Grinch", drums can be seen at 3 min 55 sec, at 4 min 25 sec & at 4 min 38 sec. When the Grinch sneaks into the Who's houses on Christmas Eve a set of drums can also be seen as a Christmas tree ornament at 13 min 10 sec.

Actor Danny DeVito appeared in Man On The Moon & I thought of him when watching animated prequel Halloween Is Grinch Night (1977). He recently acted in Tim Burton's live action version of Dumbo in 2019. There is a psychedelic scene in at 18 min 26 sec in this (Halloween Is Grinch Night) very reminiscent to the "Pink Elephants On Parade" segment & song in Walt Disney's 1941 animated Dumbo film. Very surreal & dream-like.
