Ogni gennaio a Enoshima, il 寒中神輿錬成大会 vede i mikoshi affrontare acque gelide come prova di purificazione, resistenza e spirito collettivo.

Witnessing this ritual in the freezing winter sea felt surreal and powerful.
Every January in Enoshima, the Kanchū Mikoshi Rensei Taikai challenges participants to carry mikoshi into icy waters as a test of spirit and endurance.
