Reacting to the loss, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde called it an unfortunate and painful day for Maharashtra. He described Ajit Pawar as a man of his word and recalled their teamwork, highlighting Pawar’s key role in launching the Ladli Behen Yojana.
