The Co-operative Credit Union League of Trinidad and Tobago is demanding a public apology from the Central Bank, following comments made about the sector during a recent Joint Select Committee meeting.

The League says the remarks misrepresented the credit union movement and is also questioning why the sector had no representation at the parliamentary hearing.
