For the third consecutive day, hundreds of truck drivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina have blocked border crossings to protest European Union rules limiting their stay in the Schengen area to 90 days within a six‑month period. The mobilization, coordinated with drivers in Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, has sparked concerns over economic losses estimated at more than 100 million dollars per day in exports. Trade unions warned that blockades will continue until migration policies for freight transport operators are revised. The president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce criticized European bureaucracy as inadequate and demanded urgent solutions for the sector.
