Rare and breathtaking visuals from the Himalayas 🇮🇳🐆

The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has shared stunning footage of three elusive snow leopards spotted near a road construction site under Project Himank in Ladakh.

Often called the “ghost of the mountains”, snow leopards are among the world’s most endangered big cats. The sighting highlights the delicate balance between infrastructure development and wildlife conservation in one of India’s harshest terrains.

BRO, which plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strategic roads in border areas, says such moments reinforce the importance of eco-sensitive development in the Himalayas.
