In a shocking incident in Siddapur taluk of Uttara Kannada district, a woman named Suchitra filed a complaint against jyotishi Kamalakar Bhatt, alleging an illicit relationship. Suchitra, along with her father Lokanath Nayak and four others, barged into her estranged husband Mahesh's house, leading to a violent clash. Three people, including Mahesh's brother Vasanth Nayak, were stabbed during the altercation, resulting in Vasanth's death. The police have arrested seven individuals, including Kamalakar Bhatt and Suchitra, in connection with the murder case.
