मेघालय के East Jaintia Hills ज़िले से एक दर्दनाक हादसा सामने आया है।यहाँ एक illegal coal mine में हुए भीषण blast में 16 मजदूरों की मौत हो गई।धमाका mining के दौरान dynamite के इस्तेमाल से हुआ बताया जा रहा है।Blast के बाद खदान का एक हिस्सा ढह गया, जिससे कई मजदूर दब गए।पुलिस के मुताबिक, मृतक सभी मजदूर Assam के रहने वाले थे।एक मजदूर गंभीर रूप से घायल हुआ है, जिसे Shillong रेफर किया गया।NDRF और SDRF की टीमें मौके पर rescue operation में जुटी रहीं।इलाके की दुर्गम स्थिति और खराब मौसम से राहत कार्य प्रभावित हुआ।इस हादसे ने Meghalaya में illegal coal mining पर फिर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं।

A tragic incident has been reported from East Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya.At least 16 workers were killed in a massive blast at an illegal coal mine.The explosion reportedly occurred during mining activities involving dynamite.The blast caused a partial collapse of the mine, trapping several workers.Police said all the deceased labourers were from Assam.One worker sustained critical injuries and was shifted to Shillong for treatment.Rescue teams from NDRF and SDRF were rushed to the site immediately.Operations were hampered due to the remote location and unstable debris.The incident has once again raised concerns over illegal coal mining in Meghalaya.
