The government has consistently taken firm measures to safeguard the security of foreign dignitaries during their visits to Malaysia, said Government spokesman Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.

Fahmi, who is also Communications Minister, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stressed at Friday’s (Feb 6) Cabinet meeting that no party would be allowed to disrupt proceedings while the country is hosting foreign guests.
