Oluwole ‘Wole’ Olosunde is the founder of Against Medical Advice, a label inspired by human anatomy and the many cultures of New York City. An emergency department nurse turned self-taught designer — Wole will discuss how he’s navigating an industry that has traditionally locked out those who lack the advantages of fancy fashion-school degrees or family connections.
