House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries fiercely condemned Donald Trump after the former president posted a racist video depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes on Truth Social. In an Instagram response, Jeffries bluntly said “F—k Donald Trump,” calling him an “unhinged bottom feeder” and accusing him of intentionally spreading hate and dehumanization against the Obamas.

Jeffries, the first Black lawmaker to lead a party in Congress, defended the former president and first lady as “brilliant, caring and patriotic Americans” who represent the best of the nation. The video was later deleted following backlash, but Democrats say the incident exposes a pattern of racism and division from Trump.
