Madden And Harris — Fools Paradise 1975 (Australia, Progressive, Folk Rock)

An Australian prog-folk duo from Sydney, consisting of music teacher and multi-instrumentalist Peter Harris and his student Dave Madden. In 1974, they released the single "Remember Me / A Simple Song" on the Albert Productions label, with a noticeable influence of British folk and progressive rock. In 1975, they recorded the album "Fools Paradise." The album was limited to only about 500 copies. The judicious use of synthesizers, beautiful vocal harmonies, and wistful melodies were among the highlights of their music. Unfortunately, this was their only release. Bonus tracks include songs from the 1974 single.
