The Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) will only absorb Armed Forces veterans who are fit and able enough to perform the required duties on the ground, says Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain.

The AKPS director-general said that he had met Armed Forces chief Jeneral Datuk Malek Razak Sulaiman earlier in the day for a meeting over the issue.
