Saturday, July 11, 2009 Today we transformed an old 1890’s home into the Central Community House’s Center for Art and Community where it will serve as a space for art classes and performances, lectures, community gatherings and celebrations for residents on the near east side.. It was a huge success. And the rain didn't deter anyone's spirits. It made the day less humid and gave us all one more shared experience when looking back on the day's successes.
