Pictures of Susan is a film about a little girl who wouldn't talk. She didn't talk, but she drew - thousands of crazy, wonderful, expressive works.
And then one day she stopped.
This is a story about an Outsider Artist gearing up for her first international exhibition. She has a way of communicating that will challenge you to rethink the way you see the world. This film is about coping and family. It’s about love, laughter and language.
Just as we started filming Susan picked up her pens again.
