I know of no other feeling
that weighs so heavily on my
breast – even a downward pressure
upon my chest – there’s nothing like
the emotion impressed from a
vivid dream – no fear, no anger,
even sadness has left - from trust
turned inside out or below or
above all there is - the anguish
of experiencing betrayal.
