This is the reverse side of the equally exquisite song 'Starlight'. Denny led a high society dance band in the '30s and '40s. The group was known variously as the Jack Denny Orchestra, Jack Denny and His Orchestra and the Jack Denny Studio Orchestra. The band's sound was at times especially unique due to the lack of a brass section, an effect that may have gone over the heads or under the feet of dancers at venues such as Montreal's Mount Royal Hotel and later at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City, where he held contracts. This record was made in 1932. The vocal is by Rob May. It should be noted that the label states this was recorded in the US whereas according to the 78rpm discographic project this is a Canadian recording, made in Montreal.
