Another exquisite rendition by this hardly known orchestra. Surprisingly enough I found quite a few copies of sheet music featuring her portrait, which proves she enjoyed a certain popularity in her day. Yet I found no further information about this violinist and bandleader. More specifically this disc is credited "Florence Richardson & Her Orchestra" but she is also known to have led the "Florence Richardson and her National Broadcasting Orchestra. The vocal on this 1934 recording is by Jerry Lee.
