„Oscar“ is a small,flexible car designed for urban traffic. It is also emission free. Oscar's engine runs on electricity,and it is highly economical,going 300 kilometers before its battery needs recharging. Oscar is a prototype made by engineers in Darmstadt for test purposes. They are working with automobile makers to solve problems associated with the green technology,such as the lifetime and temperature characteristics of the battery,the coodination with the engine and the design of the interior.
