In spite of the economic crisis, many Germans aren't willing to cut their spending when it comes to food. While sales of conventionally-produced foods have stagnated, those of organic products are on the rise.On average, organic food stores experienced a 4 percent increase in turnover last year. Berlin is one of the biggest markets for organic products in Europe. Here supermarkets, organic food store chains and small greengrocers battle for a slice of the organic food market.
