The group is bringing drag to the mainstream and also spreads awareness about HIV/AIDS through musical plays. Abheena is a trained Kathak dancer and comm. specialist at Johns Hopkins University. In the past, she also ran lavani group Natale Mee Tumchya Saathi
Aleesha Khan from transgender dance troupe Abheena and the Dancing Queens, gives a performance of Ring Ring Ringa from Slumdog Millionaire. The queer group is bringing drag to the mainstream and also spreads awareness about HIV/AIDS through musical plays. By day, Aleesha is a self-help group co-ordinator with the Humsafar Trust
Urmi Jadhav from transgender dance troupe Abheena and the Dancing Queens, gives a performance of Aaja Nachle from Aaja Nachle. The queer group is bringing drag to the mainstream and also spreads awareness about HIV/AIDS through musical plays. Urmi is a counselor with the Humsafar Trust. In the past, she was also part of lavani group Natale Mee Tumchya Saathi.
