The Schramm family produces beds in the Rhineland town of Winnweiler. From the frame to the mattress, the company makes everything itself. In spite of the recession, the number of employees has risen to around 100 and annual turnover is worth around 17 million Euros.Getting into the sleep business is clearly worth it. The company only makes its beds in Germany but it sells them to affluent customers worldwide. Marion Hütter tries one out.
