Texas Stadium was a football stadium in Irving, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Built to replace the aging Cotton Bowl, it was the home field of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, and had a seating capacity of 65,675. The stadium opened on October 24, 1971. The Stadium was blown up with a series of explosions calculated to make it fold in on itself - an implosion of epic proportions - on April 11, 2010.
