Hollywood beauty Cameron Diaz has fuelled rumours of a romance with Alex Rodriguez after being photographed leaving the baseball player's home in New York.

The actress was snapped with what appeared to be an overnight bag as she left Rodriguez's Manhattan flat, with the athlete following close behind.

Diaz and Rodriguez were first spotted together at a Super Bowl party in Miami in February.

On a different occassion they were seen kissing at a New York restaurant.

The photos follow the recent public appearance of Cameron's ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake together with his girlfriend Jessica Biel at the Met Gala in New York.

Cameron and Timberlake have been working on the set of new movie Bad Teacher, with rumours suggesting they could rekindle their former relationship.

In the past, the actress has insisted their relationship is now purely platonic, saying "I like him. We're friends."
