Today, Monday 26th July, Cruse Bereavement Care’s Young Cruse has been named as a finalist in the 'Best Health Project Category' of the National Lottery Awards 2010. The awards recognise the amazing work being done by lottery-funded groups across the UK. The aim is to highlight the significant difference that projects - both large and small - make to communities everywhere and to celebrate the achievements of the people behind them.
Cruse Bereavement Care’s Young Cruse Project in Belfast offers children and young people access to individual bereavement support from caring volunteers. It provides a safe place where children aged 4 - 18 years can begin to work through their grief in their own way with the help of Young Cruse Volunteers.

To vote for Cruse Bereavement Care’s Young Cruse project call 0844 686 1434 or visit www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards. The winners will be announced 4th September on a live programme on BBC One.
