Sonam Kapoor has been busy promoting her new film Aisha, which is based on Jane Austen's classic novel Emma.
Retold in the New Delhi upper class world, Aisha, is a romantic comedy that captures the spirit and style of modern Indians.
Sonam said: "It's all about wearing the right clothes, meeting the right people, getting married to the right guy, attending the right parties".
Aisha was produced by Sonam's sister Rhea and was financed by their father, famous Bollywood actor, Anil Kapoor's film company. He takes no credit for the film however, insisting he "just signed the cheques".
Directed by Rajshri Ojha, Aisha is released in cinemas on 6 August.
