Sly Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren stopped by the Wellington Barracks in London to meet real-life action heroes.
The hardmen actors met troops from three Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment battalions, before the London premiere of their new film The Expendables, and exchanged action-packed stories.
One of the soldiers asked Dolph Lundgren whether he enjoyed working with Sylvester Stallone again, to which the Swedish actor replied: "Yes, I didn't get to beat him up again, that was the only bad part."
The actors were shown some of the military equipment the soldiers are accustomed to and happily posed for photographs with the service men and women.
The Expendables hits UK cinemas on 19 August and features other Hollywood tough guys: Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li and former wrestler Steve Austin.
