2010-08-04 3rd Journal - Mayan day 5 Dog ♥ TRANSCRIPT: http://www.scribd.com/doc/35728577 ♥ iTunes podcast http://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=371766765 ♥ Blip.tv channel http://theresaaharvey.blip.tv/ Intro: In my last journal I spoke of the transition to perpetual joy being available. Not necessarily here, present in every moment - but available. It’s like a background radiance - just quietly there, all the time. I know people wonder at that. So, while saying, right up front, that that is the mind doing that wondering... let’s go that way for a bit. How can there be this perpetual radiance, hovering there, in your life all the time? How does that work? Well, just forget how it works, okay? It doesn’t matter, now does it? What will knowing how it works give you? What will it do for you? Nothing! Absolutely nothing. That is just feeding the mind - which already has an over-inflated opinion of itself, mind you, ho ho - and mind is on its way out, anyway. So let’s not just feed mind, here. That is not my intention. I hope you’ve been doing some work looking into your own intentions in things. This is powerful work - beneficial in many ways - the biggest of which is that it’s helping you step back from mind, more and more. Seeing into the self - most beneficial. But, back to that joy. What’s with that? Instead of “how does that work?” Let’s transition to “how can it be?” How about that? Oh, well, no - let’s take one more step back from this, first - to “what is this joy?” Best to start with that one. It comes first. This joy is not what you’ve likely known before - at least not very often. This is not happiness - it’s not a worldly thing at all. It’s not that. One from India whose name or title was El Morya said it best - he said that joy is the motor of life... Distributed by Tubemogul.
