Phil Danielson, 46, hit out after Britain's most violent inmate smuggled a taped message from his high-security jail cell for the premiere of the movie about his crimes.

Danielson said he is sick of hearing the "utter rubbish" about Bronson from his supporters. He added: "The people who back the campaign to free him are crackpots, stupid, deluded followers who have no idea what he is like."

Danielson's parents, both in their 70s, still receive "crank" calls from those who want Bronson released.
