Peace talks in the balance as settlement building begins

Following the end to the 10 month freeze on Israeli settlement building in the Palestinian Territories, settlers began construction across the West Bank on Monday. The Palestinian Authority had vowed to walk out of peace talks if building was restarted, but so far has not officially withdrawn from the negotitaions.
