This debate will deal with the ever-expanding controversy that exists between the dichotomies of atheism and monotheism in the modern world:
SHOULD GOD HAVE A PLACE IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY?
Join us as the speakers de-construct the issue of whether the existence of God can be proven rationally, or whether it is merely a means to prevent the faithful from participating in human (scientific) progress.
Prepare to be challenged by the thought-provoking arguments proposed by both affirmative and negative teams, which are comprised respectively of:
- Uthman Badar (Media Representative, HT) and Wassim Doureihi (Muslim speaker and activist), and;
- John Perkins (Atheist Foundation of Australia) and Hossain Salahuddin (Ex-Muslim speaker and activist)
