A woman and her two year old son were killed on Sunday. The woman's husband was outside at the time and escaped with minor injuries.
Rescuers worked through the night to recover the bodies.
And in a neighboring village, rescue workers are still searching for a third victim from another mudslide.
The landslides were triggered by torrential rains over the weekend, causing flooding across large swathes of northern and central Italy.
Roads have turned into rivers and cars have been submerged.
In Venice, a severe weather alert was issued after the water levels of the canals began to rise.
And Italians could face more hardship as the storms move south.
