A stampede in a Chinese elementary school has left six children severely injured, with one in critical condition.
It happened on Monday at a school in Aksu City of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
About 100 students fell on top of each other while going down stairs. 41 students were sent to a local hospital.
Investigations are underway.
