Hollywood starlet Kate Bosworth stars in the new fantasy movie, The Warrior's Way.

In the film we see Bosworth play side-kick to a swordsman in the American Wild West.

"I think the biggest challenge was just diving head-first into the beauty and the boldness of fantasy" Bosworth said.

"I really had nothing to cling to, it was just like, OK I'm going to be this kind of feral, wild woman in the west and just allow myself to be brave and big and bold with that and not hold back," she added.

The actress admits she tends to flit from one type of role to another: "I feel like I don't really have a very specific type of career. I mean, they've all been kind of different. I want to keep myself growing and learning and try to be better each time."

The Warrior's Way is out in cinemas now.
