An Antarctic cruise ship is limping back to port in Argentina after losing an engine in rough seas.
Dramatic amateur video footage showed the Clelia II being battered by 30ft waves off the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula.
The force of the waves took out a window in the bridge and damaged communications systems.
None of the 88 passengers on board, all from the United States, are reported injured, but one of the 77 crew apparently suffered minor injuries.
The Chilean navy has sent a vessel to escort the ship as she limps back to port at a speed of just four knots (5mph).
The Clelia's captain described the weather as the worst he has seen in 159 trips to the Antarctic.
