Katy Perry is apparently creating a new scent which fans will smell during her upcoming European tour that kicks off in February.

The American singer-songwriter comes to the UK in March and is planning a spectacular show.

"It's going to engage all the senses, so we're looking into alternative stuff like smell. We're talking to a couple of companies at the moment about creating an aroma for the performance," Katy said.

The 26-year-old popstar reached number three in the UK charts with her latest release Firework.

The Katy Perry California Dream World Tour 2011 plays London, Manchester, Dublin, Nottingham, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Newcastle, Birmingham and Glasgow.
