IBA seeks to sort out issues plaguing MFIs

The Indian Banks' Association (IBA) has met to take up the issues plaguing the microfinance sector. On the agenda was the microfinance association's request for restructuring of their bank debt. The body has asked for a 3 to 18 month relaxation in the repayment schedule depending on the company's exposure to Andhra Pradesh.
