HEY PAULA – MUSIC BY PAUL & PAULA
ARRANGED/INTERPRETED BY ERNEST VAN-MOHR
REALIZED USING GARAGEBAND + IMOVIE + M-AUDIO + ROLAND ED - ARTIST ELITE MIKE
Who are those who haven't danced hoping for a future with his girl-friend or her boy-friend, at the beginning of the Sixties on the tune of HEY PAULA?
That was a great moment of "insouciance".
Listen to my song to recall those great moments of your life. Enjoy!
Paul and Paula were Ray Hildebrand and Jill Jackson, who were students at Howard Payne College in Brownwood, Texas. Hildebrand wrote the song.
When the duo sang this on a local radio show, it got a great response and led to a record deal. The first version of the song was credited to "Jill & Ray," but it became clear that for the sake of authenticity, the duo should be known as Paul & Paula. They had 2 more US Top 40 hits: "Young Lovers" and "First Quarrel." (thanks, Bertrand - Paris, France)
