Speculation is intensifying about the state of Katie Price and Alex Reid's marriage.

After months of rumours, it is thought a statement is being prepared which will give more details about their relationship.

The glamour girl and cage-fighter got hitched in Las Vegas in February last year, but after just 11 months the strain has been showing.

Katie Price confirmed the marriage problems with a message on Twitter just days after a story broke in the News Of The World, which said the couple were locked in make-or-break talks.

She tweeted: "To answer my fans questions news of the world did a accurate story sunday about our marriage in crises - always look on bright side [sic]."

Price's ex-husband Peter Andre refused to comment when asked if he had any message of support.

Speaking at the Morning Glory premiere in London on Tuesday night, he said: "No, no, no - that's not my kind of thing."
