A wildfire is raging in rural Oklahoma as 25 miles per hour winds complicate emergency crews' efforts to combat the flames.

The fire has destroyed more than 300 acres of land in Logan County north of Oklahoma City. But, officials say the neighboring town of Meridian is not in immediate danger.

Facing dry, windy conditions, firefighters from 16 fire departments are battling to contain the fast-moving fire that already has destroyed at least four buildings.
