Paris Hilton has revealed that she would like to start a family in the near future.

When asked about her plans for the next ten years the heiress said: "I am going to continue growing as a business woman and expanding my empire, and have a family and children by then."

Hilton did not say whether she wanted children with her current boyfriend Cy Waits.

Waits is due to appear in court, in Las Vegas, on February 17, after being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.

Paris faced the same charges after cocaine was found in her purse, but struck a plea deal and received two six-month suspended jail terms, $2,000 (£1239) in fines, 200 hours of community service and required entry into a substance abuse program.
