From afternoon to late nite of one day, this time-lapse video of Crater Lake was shot on a splendid evening just as a crescent moon was setting, followed by a stunning view of the milky way passing over the lake. The light streaks are airplanes, and the bright star is Jupiter, which at this time is closest to the Earth, and is directly opposite the sun, making for its brightest presentation in centuries.
