India's cricket governing body has not decided on whether to resume cricket ties with Pakistan. India suspended cricket ties with Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008.

The Vice President of the Board of Control of Cricket in India says the committee had not yet decided whether to resume cricket ties with Pakistan.

Rajiv Shukla says the committee has taken into account security concerns and it will not be possible to start a new series next year anyway.

[Rajiv Shukla, Vice President, Board of Control of Cricket in India]:
"The Indian Board of Control of Cricket working committee would only take a decision after looking into all aspects including security concerns. But as the schedule for the next year is already fixed, we do not have any vacant slot right now, where we can fit a new series."

India suspended bilateral cricketing ties with Pakistan after Pakistan-based terrorists attacked Mumbai in November 2008, in which 166 people were killed.

The last bilateral cricket series took place in 2007-2008 when the Pakistani team visited India.
