Watch the whole 22-minute video at http://www.goldmoney.com/fieler-interview. Sean Fieler (http://www.americanprinciplesproject.org) talks to James Turk about the next steps in monetary reform. He hopes to prove that Utah was not a one-off and that more steps will join the effort and momentum will grow to permit gold and silver to be used as money, particularly taxes on precious metal transactions. Changing the way the IRS interprets value of gold and silver is key, but is unlikely to happen without a build up of pressure, first from the states, then at the federal level. Sean Fieler believes that the better strategy is political, rather than legal; although there would be legal recourse by the states should they wish to take the case to the Supreme Court.
